On a scale of 1-10, how 'Spiked' is your life? Why?

I give myself a level 10 because everything is equally poppin right now! My businesses are successful. My blog is flourishing and major companies have been reaching out to us because of it. My family is awesome; everyone is happy and healthy. God has been pouring the extra blessings out over here. I'm truly grateful.

What is your secret to 'Spiking' your life?

I don't have a "spiked secret", I just put my all into everything I do and I live a balanced life.

In business, If I come up with an idea that I believe is a great idea I can pass up on, I act on it immediately. I never stop dreaming or grinding. I never let anything get in my way. If I have a goal and plan A isn't working, on to Plan B and so forth.

In my personal life, I make sure I live in the moment and just enjoy life. You only get one, so I make sure to live it to the fullest and have fun.

What is one piece of advice you would offer others to help 'Spike' their life?

Being a successful entrepreneur frequently involves a series of missteps and mistakes before finally nailing the right idea or business. Some quick points of advice I would offer aspiring entrepreneurs would be:

  • there are no short cuts- always take time to complete tasks right the first time. It will save you a lot of time and money.
  • it's ok to ask for help- there is always someone that can offer some help that even you may not know that you needed. Never let your pride get in the way of getting help that can potentially boost your business.
  • your time is precious- being your own boss means you have to master time management. There isn't anyone telling you what to do or when to do it. You have to be extremely disciplined.
  • never give up- if there is an idea you constantly think about, go after it. Don't let anyone tell you that you can't do it. You can get a million no's but then the opportunity of a lifetime could be right around the corner. Be persistent and believe in yourself and you can accomplish anything.
